Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out order pre-checks and invoice processing.
- Manage general sales applications and system maintenance.
- Support Waste Commercial Team with quotations and organisation of site disposal contract requirements.
- Maintain system costs for Waste Division Liaise with Accounts department to resolve supplier invoice queries.
- Process customer complaints and non-conformance cases.
- Raise credit notes and carry out general administration.
- Ticket entry for waste division Subcontract works.
- Assist with new and existing customers by handling incoming calls and email enquiries, always ensuring a high level of customer service.
- Build and maintain positive business relationships, both internally and externally.
- Produce and follow up sales quotations at regular intervals.
- Develop knowledge of Microsoft BI reporting.
- Office 365, CRM, Power App development.
Person Specification:
- The employee must show a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Ability to deal with a wide range of tasks
- Excellent knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, Pivot Tables and Outlook, and task management are essential
- Previous experience in a sales or back-office support-based position would be beneficial
- Have a proactive and positive can-do attitude
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work well as part of a team, but equally capable of managing own time and workload
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Be a confident and effective communicator, both written and verbally
- Knowledge of Waste Disposal and process would be beneficial but is not essential
This role would be well suited to individuals who are motivated, confident in answering the phone and have great communication skills. An exciting opportunity to join a dynamic sales team.
Working hours: Generally, 42.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 0830-1700 (including 1 hour unpaid for lunch). Some flexibility around working hours may be available dependent on the candidate.
Location: Dependent on the candidate, Greenwich, Battersea, Purley and our Brentford office can accommodate the position. At times all these depots may require the candidate to attend meetings or training. Working from Home may be an option for part of the working week.
