Specialists in the supply of primary, manufactured, and recycled aggregates, and waste management services, serving construction and infrastructure projects and builders merchants.

Day Contracting

With over 50 years’ expertise in turnkey services and solutions to the UK water industry, our expert team also has capabilities to deliver a portfolio of additional civil engineering services to aid the construction sector.

Day Glass Recycling

Processing over 150,000 tonnes of glass annually, we collect post-consumer glass from across the South of England and ship for recycling from our port and wharf side locations.

Day Equestrian

A leading manufacturer of high-performance riding surfaces and equestrian aggregate materials.

About Us

Family-led we have grown to deliver at scale, with more than 25 locations and approaching 700 people who remain at the heart of our success. Annually, we supply over 5 million tonnes of quarried products, recycled and manufactured aggregates, and services to the construction, waste, and water treatment sectors.

Our Waste Management services recycle over one million tonnes of construction and demolition waste every year. We’ve invested heavily in advanced facilities to process incinerator bottom ash, a by-product of energy-from-waste, helping to cut landfill use and drive the circular economy.

With an extensive network of strategic railheads and expert logistics teams with local knowledge, we deliver materials efficiently while reducing emissions and easing road congestion. Always looking for innovative, more sustainable solutions, we’re proving that it’s not just our lorries that are green.
