Day Aggregates supplied Wedgewood Construction with Ecoblend® MA Type 1 for a project at Natewood Farm.

The project entailed the construction of an adoptable road and the base for three warehouse and storage barns. The key benefits of using Ecoblend® MA products were:

25% saving in material cost compared to Primary aggregates
10% saving on density compared to natural aggregates
50% sustainable aggregate content
Reduced use of quarried aggregate, helping to preserve our precious natural resources

Ecoblend® MA is a blend of natural quarried aggregate and Incinerator Bottom Ash Aggregate (IBAA). The material can be used for capping and sub-base and is fully compliant with National Highways Specifications.
