Working under the direction of the Depot Management, the successful candidate will head up a small team, whose purpose is to ensure the recycling plant is maintained and cleaned to a high standard, whilst ensuring compliance with all health, safety and environmental requirements.

The successful person will have a good level of hands-on fitting skills and ideally have worked on processing or recycling operations to include such equipment as conveyors, feeders, screens, crushers etc. There will be a clear drive for continuous improvement and a focus on planned preventative maintenance.

Also, in conjunction with their team, a large part of the role will be the direct cleaning of the various parts of the processing plant, to remove spillages, blockages, wire, material build-up in chutes etc, so the person will need to be physically fit and have the right aptitude and drive to ensure the plant is well cleaned in addition to being well maintained.

Working hours will be 12:00 – 22:00 Monday to Friday. Occasional weekend working may be required.

This will be an hourly position paid monthly including overtime and will also include an additional attendance bonus.  In addition, there is an annual profit-share bonus and a Christmas bonus.

 Salary dependent on experience and aptitude.
