The role will involve:

  • Carry out all tasks required of you in a safe and legal manner
  • Knowing and understanding the laws applicable to large goods vehicles and consistently applying these regulation
  • Daily walk around vehicle checks and the reporting of all vehicle defects
  • Knowledge of the Highway Code
  • Understanding and following Tachograph procedures 

In addition, candidates will:    

  • Have a flexible “can do” attitude and willingness to develop within the role
  • Have and maintain a full UK driving licence
  • Be willing to follow instructions and Company procedures
  • Carry out all work in a safe and diligent manner
  • Be willing to help out in other areas of the business where needed
  • Be courteous and respectful to customers and other company employees
  • Behave professionally at all times on and off the road in your role as an ambassador for the Company

Working hours: 45 hours per week.

Please note all applicants will need to have obtained a Provisional LGV licence prior to appointment. 

This role will require working a 6 day week once the programme is successfully completed.
